The Coffee County Education Retirees Association will meet Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Coffee County Farm Center in New Brockton at 10 a.m. Jill Jackson, AERA Executive Director, will be the guest speaker. This is also the annual Scholarship Auction so be sure to bring at least three items to be auctioned off. Don’t forget to bring pop tops, canned goods and school supplies. The Above the Best Silver Chapter of the US Army Warrant Officers Association will be holding its in-person, monthly meeting at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at Swartworth Hall on Fort Rucker. A meal will be served. Please observe Fort Rucker COVID protocols. This meeting is open to all warrant officers or those interested in warrant officer issues.

The Republican Women of Coffee County will meet Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 11 a.m., at the Enterprise Country Club. The guest speaker will be Britney Garner, president of the Alabama Federation of Republican Women. Also, RWCC officers will be elected and sworn in for the 2022-2023 term. Social time begins at 11 a.m. with an optional $12 lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m. The program begins at approximately noon. Everyone is invited, but reservations are required. The Wiregrass-Enterprise Chapter 1807, National Active and Retired Federal Employees, will hold its monthly luncheon program at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Enterprise Country Club. Chris Alexander, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama Federal Employee Insurance Representative, will be the guest speaker. All federal employees, active or retired, are invited to attend the luncheon programs at the same time every fourth Thursday of the month at Po Folks.
