Officers with the Enterprise Police Department are investigating an early morning shooting incident that occurred on Bullard Drive Sept. 18.

At about 7:50 a.m., police and emergency medical personnel responded the incident.

According to Sgt. Steve Russell, public information officer, two subjects had entered into a residence and injured one person with a stab wound to the hand and shooting a second person in the knee after a confrontation in another room.

Russell said at least one of the assailants was known by one of the victims.

The victims in the case, he said, are refusing to cooperate with police in the investigation.

In what police believe to be a related incident, at about 1:24 p.m. the same day, officers responded to Meadowbrook Apartments where a confrontation resulted in a subject being struck in the head with the butt of a handgun.

Russell said the victim in this case is also refusing to cooperate with police.

In other crime, according records at the Coffee County Jail, police have arrested Deandre Tyrone Moxley, 21, of Prattville, first-degree possession of marijuana; Wateshia Wilder, 29, of Enterprise, possession of Lortab; Gary Lee Canterbury, 55, of Daleville, theft of services; and Alels Broomfield, 56, of Enterprise, possession of a controlled substance.
