Police make arrest in gas station burglary

The Enterprise Police Department responded to a burglar alarm at the Liberty Gas Station in the 900 Block of Rucker Boulevard at 4:54 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 16.

Police found that an exterior glass door had been shattered, and beer had been stolen.

EPD officers identified the suspect on the store's video surveillance footage, and

the suspect was taken into custody a short time later.

Horace Matthew Cooper, 28, of Enterprise, was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary.

He is currently being held at the Coffee County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
