On April 21st Dale County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested Rebecca Dupree and Benjamin Galloway of Daleville.
Officials charge the two with chemical endangerment, according to a press relase from Chief Deputy Mason Bynum.
“DHR received an anonymous complaint concerning the welfare of the children and the current living conditions at the residence. During the course of the investigation, the parents along with the children were submitted to a drug screening which resulted in the positive presence of methamphetamine in both parents along with a three-year-old special needs child and a 10-month-old child,” stated the release.
In addition, Dupree will also be charged with second degree possession of marijuana after a search of the home produced marijuana, the release said.
Galloway and Dupree are currently being held at the Dale County Jail awaiting a first appearance hearing.
The children are currently in the custody of DHR, according to the release.
