Andrew Kelley, special consultant and former superintendent of Daleville City Schools, was arrested Monday by Dothan Police on a charge of Third Degree Domestic Violence/Harassment, according to a spokesman at the Houston County Jail.
The spokesman said Kelley was arrested April 18 on the charge and bonded out of jail today. His bond was $6,000.
Kelley resigned his position as Daleville’s school superintendent back in February 2016. The school board approved an agreement allowing him to remain as a special consultant to the board and receive his same salary and benefits until May 1.
Kelley spent 27 years with the school system in the rolls of teacher, coach and superintendent.
