Extension Office plans hay production seminar

The Coffee County Extension Office is hosting its annual Hay Production Meeting, May 16.

The meeting is located at BamaJam Farms located six miles north of Enterprise via Highway 167 and will begin at 8 a.m.

The event is scheduled through 2 p.m. and will cover topics such as forage quality, insect control, nutrient management, equipment demonstrations and economic factors to consider when producing hay in the area.

Admission is free, but those interested in attending should RSVP by May 10.
