OCTOBER FEST

The Knights of Columbus are hosting an October Fest on Friday, Oct. 4, from 5-7 p.m. in Saint John Hall. Featured will be schnitzel and bratworst, German potato salad and desserts.

YARD SALE

Church on Boll Weevil Circle between the Career Center and Enterprise High School will have a free yard sale on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 7:30-11:30 a.m. All items are free. Call 894-6411 for more information or to donate items.

BLOOD DRIVE

The Homeschool Group and the Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a Blood Drive on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Guadalupe Hall. To pre-register, go to www.redcrossblood.org click on *FIND DRIVE *and enter zip code 36330. Walk-ins are welcome. There is a critical need for donations due to the impact of Hurricane Dorian.

COUNTRY FEST

County Line Baptist Church will host the Fifth Annual Community Country Fest on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 4-6 p.m. featuring Bluegrass music by Ten Mile Branch, antique tractors and farm implements, Tri-Communities Fire Truck, a peanut boil, old time demonstrations, a hay ride, petting zoo, carriage rides, popcorn, door prizes and more. There will be free fun and food. Products will be available for purchase from the old time demonstrators.

AGLOW MEETING

The next Aglow International meeting is scheduled on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m. at Po Folks in Enterprise. Guest speaker will be Jacqueline Battles from Montgomery. For more information, call (334) 406-9683.

CHOIR ANNIVERSARY

Great Springfield Missionary Baptist Church, New Brockton is celebrating it’s 91st Choir Anniversary and an “in memory of Warren Smith” Oct. 13, at 2:30 p.m.

Pea River Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating it’s eighth annual Choir Anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 2:30 p.m.

HOMECOMING

Eanon Baptist Church in New Brockton will have Homecoming on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 10:30 a.m. Guest speaker will be Dr. John Granger and special music will be presented by Derek Snellgrove and Chosen. PARENTS OF ADDICTED LOVED ONES

A free educational support group for parents and families of addicted loved ones is being hosted by Bethany Baptist Church each Tuesday from 6 -7:30 p.m. For additional information, call (334) 379-9118. Participants must be 18 years old or over.

DIVORCECARE FOR KIDS

Hillcrest Baptist Church Counseling Ministry offers a DivorceCare for Kids class on Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Building F, Room 305.

GRACE MARRIAGE CLASSES

Hillcrest Baptist Church will hold Grace Marriage Classes on May 4, Aug. 17 and Oct. 19 from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Lunch and childcare will be provided. For more information, call the church office at 347-2516.

COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY

Community Bible Study will be held every Tuesday beginning from 6-7 p.m. at the Sconiers Clan Building, County Road 728, in the Bellwood community. S.R. Perkins will be the facilitator.

A Ladies Bible Study is held the first and third Tuesday of every month at 11 a.m. at the Adams Street Church of Christ.

The Enterprise Women’s Day Class of Community Bible Study meets at First Baptist Church of Enterprise Mondays from 10 a.m. to noon. This class will be studying Return to Jerusalem (various books of the Old Testament).  A children’s ministry is provided for baby to 14 years old. Homeschool credit is available. Community Bible Study is an interdenominational study.
