A Houston County man was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident in the early morning hours June 26.
Scott Sterling Coon, 47, was killed when the 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle he was operating left the roadway causing him to be thrown from the motorcycle, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Trooper Sgt. Michael Simmons.
Simmons said the accident occurred at about 2 a.m. June 26 on Cumbie Road, approximately 12 miles west of Dothan.
“Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash,” Simmons said.
Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.
