The Fort Rucker Faulkner gate will be open two weekends in June for traffic while the Enterprise gate will be closed for road resurfacing.
According to the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence and Fort Rucker Facebook page, the closing of the Enterprise gate will “help expedite the resurfacing of Andrews Avenue near the gate.”
The Enterprise gate will first close at 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, and will re-open at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 2. The Enterprise gate will close for a second time at 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, and will re-open at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 9.
The Faulkner gate will be open at these times.
