Six townhouses at the Fieldcrest Townhomes Complex on Brian Court, off of Industrial Boulevard, in Daleville were impacted by a fire Saturday, March 28.
There were no life threatening injuries in the fire that apparently began as a grease fire in the kitchen of one of the two-story townhomes, according to Daleville Department of Public Safety Director Chief Medley.
Neighboring fire and rescue personnel responding to assist the Daleville Fire Department with the fire fight included the Fort Rucker Fire Department, the Level Plains Fire Department, the Enterprise Fire Department and the Clayhatchee Fire and Rescue, Medley said.
The fire spread from the kitchen to the second story attic area of the townhome requiring the use of the ladder trucks owned by the Fort Rucker and Enterprise Fire Departments, Medley said. “We are appreciative of the outstanding support we received from our neighbors.”
