On Friday, Nov. 8 a monument dedication was held for a newly installed Warrant Officer monument in Veteran’s Park on post at Fort Rucker. The monument celebrates 100 years of service from 1948-2018. CW4 (ret.) Robert Cooper, director of the Warrant Officer’s Historical Foundation, said, “Warrant Officers compose only 2 percent of the Army force. Warrant officers are technically and tactically focused as they manage and maintain increasingly complex battlefield systems. This is done in the capacity of a technical expert, advisor and leader. They enhance the Army’s ability to defend our nation.” (Courtesy photo)
