The U.S. Department of Labor is proposing a rule change requiring federal contractors and subcontractors to set a hiring goal of having 7 percent of their workforce be people with disabilities, among other requirements.

Learn more about the implications of the possible rule change and about being compliant with the current rules of the Rehabilitation Act by attending a free presentation.

Presentations will be held July 24 at 11:00 a.m., at the Geneva County Department of Human Resources in Geneva and again at 1 p.m. at the Enterprise Business Incubator in Enterprise.

Call 1-800-671-6833 to register. The event is sponsored by the Coffee-Geneva Committee for the Employment of People with Disabilities.
