The Enterprise Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in a purse theft that occurred at Walmart.

According to Public Information Officer Lt. Billy Haglund, an unknown suspect stole a purse out of a shopping cart between 6 and 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3.

Video surveillance footage shows a black male wearing a dark blue shirt and maroon pants steal the purse and remove the contents from it, according to Haglund.

Surveillance footage also shows the suspect driving from the Walmart parking lot in a late 1990s Toyota Corolla that is white in color, he said.

The EPD asks that anyone with information to help identify this person of interest contact the EPD at (334) 347-2222 or leave a tip at www.enterprisepd.com.
