Two people were injured following a three-vehicle accident on Highway 167 North near mile marker 32.
The accident, which occurred at about 4:45 p.m. involved three vehicles about two miles north of the Enterprise bypass.
One vehicle, a 2006 Toyota Tundra driven by Timothy Richey of New Brockton, was flipped on its side in the roadway while another, a 2009 Nissan sedan driven by Octavis Nunn of Samson, ended in a ditch beside the southbound lane with substantial damage to the front of the vehicle. The third, a 2003 Chevrolet tow truck driven by Kevin Sims of Montgomery, had damage to the front of the vehicle.
That portion of highway was shut down while first responders were on the scene and a Flatiron helicopter landed to transport Nunn to a Dothan hospital.
Richey was transported to Medical Center Enterprise for treatment.
The driver of the Chevrolet was not injured.
The Enterprise Police Department, Enterprise Fire Department, Enterprise Rescue Inc. and Alabama State Troopers responded to the accident.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
