Deputies have made an arrest in connection with a Christmas Eve robbery and reported assault of a Coffee County man.
Jeffrey Scott Maddox was arrested Dec. 27 and charged with first-degree robbery, according to jail records.
Maddox forcibly took money from a man and "strong-armed" him while the man was working in what was once Smith Brothers Garage on Highway 134, according to Coffee County Chief Deputy Ronnie Whitworth.
While attempting to execute a warrant for Maddox, at Maddox's home on County Road 636, deputies discovered a portable methamphetamine lab, Whitworth said.
The working lab and finished methamphetamine pills were discovered in a green grill, Whitworth said.
Deputies arrested Jessica Burch and Tommy Bryan and charged each with manufacturing methamphetamine in the first degree, trafficking methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Maddox was also additionally charged with the methamphetamine-related crimes.
