The search of a Coffee County home Tuesday afternoon led to the discovery of a working methamphetamine lab.
Coffee County Sheriff's Deputies were executing an arrest warrant for Jeffrey Scott Maddox at County Road 636 on an unrelated issue (details about the initial arrest warrant have not been released at this time) when they discovered a portable methamphetamine lab, according to Chief Deputy Ronnie Whitworth.
The working lab and finished methamphetamine pills were discovered in a green grill, he said.
Deputies arrested Jennifer Burch, Tommy Bryan and Jeffrey Scott Maddox and charged each with manufacturing methamphetamine in the first degree, trafficking methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, Whitworth said.
No additional information about the lab is available at this time.
