A teenager wielding a shotgun was arrested after a 30-minute standoff with police.
At about 11:38 a.m., Enterprise police responded to a domestic situation at a residence in the 100 block of Grayton Lane.
Upon arrival, police observed a 17-year-old white male juvenile with a shotgun pointed at police and allegedly threatening to shoot.
After a 30-minute standoff, police took the juvenile into custody without incident.
The suspect was charged with third-degree domestic violence, menacing and third-degree criminal mischief.
He was transported to the Southeast Alabama Diversion Center.
In other crime news, according to Coffee County Jail records, police have arrested Larry Sutley, 58, of Glenwood, possession of a controlled substance and felony possession of a firearm; Eric Borders, 29, of Enterprise, possession of cocaine, first-degree possession of marijuana; Lyndon Baker Jr., 25, of Enterprise, possession of a controlled substance, failure to appear of a distribution charge, probation violation and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Efrain Cacao, 24, of Enterprise, first-degree burglary.
