Members of the Enterprise First Assembly of God presented a daylong “silent sermon” Friday, March 25, on the lawn of their church on Boll Weevil Circle in remembrance of Jesus Christ’s agony and death on the cross on the hill at Calvary on Good Friday.

This is the second year the church has presented the “silent sermon” which is comprised of three scenarios: Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem on the back of a borrowed donkey, Jesus being beaten as he walked the Via Dolorosa on the way to his crucifixion and his death on the cross, hung between two thieves.

This “silent sermon” has generated "overwhelming positive support,” according to pastors Shawn and Crystal Crosby.

“It was a life changing experience that makes people see there is still goodness in a crazy world,” said Crystal Crosby.
