Local law enforcement is searching for Antonio "Tony" Pouncey.

Pouncey, 37, escaped from the Coffee County Courthouse around 11:15 a.m Wednesday, July 19.

According to Coffee County Sheriff Dave Sutton, Pouncey was in the process of being rearrested after having failed a drug test in Coffee County Drug Court. Pouncey was in the courthouse at the time he fled, Sutton said. Pouncey had been sentenced to five days in jail for failing the drug test.

The sheriff’s office and police department are asking anyone with information to call the sheriff’s office at 894-5535 and the Enterprise Police Department at 347-2222.
