The Enterprise Police Department arrested George Presley Jr., 35, at approximately 9:55 a.m., Aug. 21 on a charge of third degree burglary.

Enterprise Police received a call of a possible burglary in progress on North Watson Street at approximately 9:37 a.m. that morning.

The caller was able to give a detailed description of a possible suspect.

Officers en-route to the call observed Presley in clothing that matched the description given by the caller.

When officers attempted to make contact, Presley ran into a wooded area nearby.

Officers pursued him through the woods and into an adjoining neighborhood until he was finally apprehended on Larkin Street.

The stolen property was later recovered by the Enterprise Police Department.
