Fourth graders from Holly Hill Elementary School recently took a field trip to Montgomery, Alabama.
The students toured the State House, Alabama Archives and the Capitol.
State Rep. Barry Moore attended tours with the students and participated in a mock voting session at the State House.
During the trip, the students learned about the history of the Capitol and got a firsthand look at Alabama’s legislative process.
