The Enterprise High School Band will host the Southland Band Classic Oct. 27, in Wildcat Stadium.

Performances begin at 2:30 p.m. and awards will be presented at 9 p.m.

Seventeen bands from south Alabama, northwest Florida and southwest Georgia will be performing throughout the day.

The Enterprise “Big Blue” Marching Band will also perform in exhibition and will be followed by Mobile College’s “Ram Corps.”

“Ram Corps” is a small marching ensemble made up of musicians attending Mobile College.

“They are a very dynamic and exciting group who performs regularly at many indoor and outside events throughout the Southeast,” said Charlie Ford, EHS band director.

Admission to the Southland Band Classic is $5 per person and the gates will open at 2 p.m.

For more information call the EHS band room at 475-4920.
