The Enterprise Police Department is calling for public assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.
According to Public Information Officer Lt. Billy Haglund, the EPD responded to a robbery call at La Bamba restaurant, located at 1009 Rucker Boulevard, on Monday, Aug. 5, at 8:28 p.m.
La Bamba employees and restaurant patrons advised EPD officers that a white male brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cash register, Haglund said.
The suspect took the money and fled the restaurant in an unknown direction, according to Haglund.
The suspect was approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighed 250 pounds and was wearing a camo face mask and a black T-shirt. Haglund said the suspect’s T-shirt had a map of the State of Alabama on the back of it.
Haglund said no injuries were reported during this robbery.
The EPD’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID) requests that anyone with additional information regarding this crime contact the EPD at (334) 347-2222 or leave a tip at www.enterprisepd.com.
