Taco Bell employee arrested for hot grease assault

The Enterprise Police Department arrested one Taco Bell employee on Tuesday, March 14 for assaulting another with hot grease.

On Saturday, March 11, according to Public Information Officer Billy Haglund, EPD responded to an assault call at Taco Bell, located on Boll Weevil Circle.

Officers discovered that two Taco Bell employees were involved in a verbal altercation. During this altercation, the suspect allegedly threw hot grease on the victim, Haglund said.

The victim received medical treatment for burns to her face, neck and chest. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving.

At 12: 12 p.m. on March 14, EPD detectives arrested and charged Vermillion Dionne Dailey, 36, of Enterprise, with first-degree assault.

Dailey is currently being held at the Coffee County Jail. No bond has been set at this time.
