A Dale County jury took 10 minutes to find Mike Pritchett, 55, guilty of drug trafficking, according to Dale County District Attorney Kirke Adams.
Pritchett initially arrested in connection with some $1.2 million worth of marijuana found on his property on County Road 445 near the city of Level Plains in July 2015.
A joint law enforcement investigation resulted in Pritchett’s arrest on July 14, 2015. The Enterprise Police Department Narcotics Unit, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Narcotics Unit and the Coffee County Sheriff's Department seized about approximately 620 marijuana plants and about two pounds of cultivated marijuana worth about $1.2 million in the 100 block of County Road 445.
Following Pritchett’s arrest, the Enterprise Police Department credited the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Aviation Unit for their assistance in the investigation.
Sentencing for Pritchett is June 7. He faces 10 years to life in prison, Adams said.
