A Daleville woman was killed March 22, after her silver 2003 GMC Envoy XL swiped another vehicle, left the roadway and overturned several times.

A two-vehicle accident on Highway 84 in Daleville claimed the life of a Daleville woman, March 22.

Yolanda Lee Mancinelli, 44, was killed when the silver 2003 GMC Envoy XL she was driving swiped a 2006 Nissan Maxima, left the roadway and overturned several times.

Mancinelli was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Maxima, Tammy Chastain Hollister, 57, of Newton, sustained no injuries.

The crash occurred in the eastbound lane of Highway 84 between Nathan Road and Woodland Drive at about 10 p.m.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Daleville Police Department.
