One individual is dead and another is in custody following a shooting in Daleville on Saturday, Nov. 24.
Social media posts by the Dale County Sheriff’s Office stated the incident occurred on Richardson Drive Saturday night.
According to Daleville Police Chief William “Willy” Powell, the incident was a domestic situation between two brothers.
One victim was shot and killed, and a suspect has been taken into custody, according to Powell. He said the suspect was arrested on the side of the road, but the suspect's and the victim's identities could not be released at this time.
The Daleville Police Department, the DCSO, the Houston County Sheriff’s Department and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency responded to the incident.
