Enterprise High School basketball coach Kenny Hill resigned Friday as the Wildcats' boys basketball coach.
Hill was reportedly named the boys basketball coach at Scottsboro High School Thursday night.
The following is a statement from EHS principal Matt Rodgers regarding Hill's resignation and Enterprise's search for its next boys basketball coach:
“Coach Hill contributed greatly in the process of turning around our boys basketball program. He was an outstanding coach and excellent classroom teacher.
"Kenny and his family are well thought of in our community. The entire family will be missed. We wish Kenny and his family good luck as they embark on a new chapter in their lives.”
The search will begin immediately to find a replacement.
“We have an outstanding group of young men in our program that are eager to learn and improve their basketball skills. I am confident that we will be able to attract a talented group of applicants. It is always our goal to provide all of our student-athletes at Enterprise High School with the best possible coach and staff. We will begin the search immediately,” Rodgers said.
