A single-vehicle crash at 4 a.m. Oct. 16 has claimed the life of an Enterprise man.
Jose Obidio Munguia Perez, 40, was killed when the 2000 Jeep he was driving left the roadway and struck several trees, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Trooper Kevin Cook.
Coffee County Coroner Robert Preachers pronounced Perez dead at the scene, Cook said.
The crash occurred on Alabama 87 at the 24-mile marker, 10 miles west of Enterprise. The preliminary investigation indicates speed might have been a factor.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
