The National Weather Service has placed the area under a hard freeze warning from 3 a.m. until 8 a.m. Sunday morning.
The affected area includes all of southeast Alabama. Temperatures are expected to fall between 22 and 26 degrees.
The duration of the hard freeze is about three hours with temperatures below freezing for about eight hours.
Residents are advised to be mindful of people, plants, pets and pipes during the freeze.
