An Enterprise man has been charged with over 30 child pornography charges.
On Aug. 25, the Enterprise Police Department, with assistance from the Alabama State Bureau of Investigations and Coffee County Sheriff's Office, made an arrest in a criminal investigation regarding child pornography, according to Public Information officer Billy Haglund.
The EPD Criminal Investigations Division received information on a subject in reference to the electronic solicitation of children, Haglund said.
EPD detectives, and state and CCSO investigators, executed a search warrant at an Enterprise residence and recovered a large amount of suspected child pornography, Haglund said.
Detectives arrested and charged Jimmie Meadows, 40, with 31 counts of possession of child pornography.
Meadows has been transported to the Coffee County Jail.
The investigation is still ongoing and additional charges may be pending, Haglund said.
