Two juveniles were taken into custody Nov. 12 after a police pursuit that started in Enterprise and ended in Geneva with a wreck and foot pursuit.
At about 1:30 p.m., an officer with the Enterprise Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle that was identified as stolen out of Okaloosa County, Florida.
The vehicle would not stop and was followed down Highway 27 South toward Geneva.
Dispatch called for mutual aid and the intersection of Highway 27 and 52 was blocked.
According to Lt. Ricky Morgan with the Geneva Police Department, the vehicle approached the blocked intersection and pulled into Prices Restaurant hitting his vehicle, a civilian vehicle and pedestrian before pulling back onto the highway and driving off the side of the road.
The two occupants fled the vehicle on foot. Shortly after, the female passenger was taken into custody by a Geneva County Deputy Sheriff. The male driver ran across a creek and was apprehended in town by the Geneva Police Chief close to the Magnolia Market.
The two juveniles were described a runaways from Crestview, Florida. Charges, Morgan said, would likely be possession of stolen property, reckless endangerment and felony attempting to elude.
No injuries were reported following the incident.
