The woman who has served as the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce president for nearly a year has been named a career technical education coach at the newly formed Wiregrass Center of Excellence.
Jennie Clark was approved as a CTE Coach by the Enterprise Board of Education at the meeting June 28.
Clark has served as Enterprise Chamber of Commerce president since November. 2015. She assumed the position vacated by Lisa Fenner, who is currently the marketing director at Medical Center Enterprise.
Clark said Wednesday, June, 29, that she is excited about the opportunity to serve in this new position.
Clark came to the chamber position most recently from Blakely, Ga., where she worked in a family business.
Clark is a graduate of Georgia Southern University. Her background and expertise is in marketing and business development.
Clark has been actively involved with the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce for years, serving as an ambassador and a member of the retail committee.
In 2011 Clark was selected Enterprise Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year. In 2010, she received the chamber’s Ray of Hope Award, an award presented by the Citizen’s Interaction Committee to individuals who give of their time and talents to the city of Enterprise.
Clark served as a board member on the Healthy Woman Committee and in 2009 served as Enterprise Chamber of Commerce Vice Chairman of Organizational Development. While in Enterprise previously, she volunteered with the Wiregrass United Way and organized and directed Leadership Coffee County, a 10-month course to build and develop community leaders through hands-on educational programs in government, business and agriculture.
Clark is a past member of the Enterprise Rotary Club and has served on the Coffee County Family and Children’s Services Board.
