Enterprise seniors host game day

Friends from surrounding senior centers came together for fun and prizes during a game day event at the Enterprise Senior Center on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
The event, held by the Enterprise Senior Center and sponsored by several local businesses and organizations, brought the Enterprise, Midland City and New Hope Senior Centers together.
This event, according to Senior Center Manager Angela Lane, was inspired by a recent game day event held at the Midland City Senior Center. Enterprise and New Hope also attended the Midland City event.
Lane said events like this one are a great way to bring seniors from around the Wiregrass together.
“They can come together,” she said. “Each senior can come together, and they can mingle and meet each other.
“When they go out, they’ll meet a familiar face in different areas all over Enterprise, Coffee County and Dale County.”
Lane said the senior center hopes to make events like this a common occurrence.
