An inmate has died in the Coffee County Jail from what appears to be natural causes, according to a press release from the Coffee County Sheriff's Office.
"Nicholas Robertson, 48, of Enterprise, was rushed by ambulance to Medical Center Enterprise where he was eventually pronounced dead from what appears to be natural causes," the press release said.
Robertson was booked into the jail on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges on July 28.
The release said that no foul play is suspected, but an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
According to the release, the investigation is ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
