Gov. Robert Bentley will be in Enterprise Wednesday, Feb. 19, to help the city celebrate a job-creating expansion project by a thriving existing industry.

The event marks the second time in month the Governor has visited the city to show his support for an outstanding economic development project. On Jan. 17, Bentley was on hand to break ground on a new Alabama Aviation Support hangar at the Enterprise Municipal Airport.

In a 3 p.m. ceremony at the new facility on Salem Road, Bentley and other state and local leaders will officially cut the ribbon on HS Automotive Alabama’s new manufacturing facility, where 100 jobs are being filled.

The HSAA Second Plant is also the second major expansion of the company since it located in Enterprise in 2003. The original structure on Sonata Drive was expanded in 2006. The Governor was in Enterprise last May to help break ground for the Second Plant and says he is looking forward to seeing the completed facility.

HSAA is a Korean-based company that serves as a Tier 1 supplier to the Hyundai plant in Montgomery County. However, the company produces weather stripping, tubing and automotive pressure hoses not only for Hyundai but Chrysler, Kia, Mitsubishi and other major car manufacturers.

The public is invited to the ribbon-cutting, which will be at 3 p.m. at the new plant on Salem Road, just across the street from the original HSAA plant.
