An Enterprise man was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic violence in connection with an incident Christmas morning.

According to Enterprise Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Billy Haglund, Antrade Demonde Roby, 31, of Enterprise was transported to the Coffee County Jail after being arrested on two counts of third degree domestic violence.

Haglund said that the arrest was a result of a Christmas morning call to the EPD reporting domestic violence in the 100 block of Woodfield Place in Enterprise.

While enroute to the call, patrol officers observed the suspect’s vehicle travelling on Glover Avenue, Haglund said.

Patrol officers received information that the suspect was armed and attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, Haglund said. “After a brief, slow speed pursuit, the suspect stopped at Medical Center Enterprise and the EPD officers ordered the suspect out of the vehicle.”

Haglund said the suspect surrendered to police and was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was not armed.

Haglund said additional charges might be pending.
