An Enterprise man was transported via helicopter to Southeast Alabama Medical Center after falling from a ladder June 20.

At about 9:30 a.m., officers with the Enterprise Police Department responded to a residence on Brooks Circle.

When emergency personnel arrived, they discovered a 62-year-old male had fallen from an extension ladder while attempting to trim branches from a tree in a relative's yard.

Members of the Enterprise Rescue Squad and Enterprise Fire Department stabilized the man and requested Flatiron for transport.

The helicopter landed in the Morgan Square Mall parking lot to transport the man to the Dothan hospital.
