Mayor Claudia Wigglesworth said board appointments are vacant on the Board of Adjustments, Industrial Development Board and now on the Planning Commission.
Council members approved the resignation of Ron Swihart from the Planning Commission during the council meeting.
Wigglesworth said Swihart requested the resignation because of his work schedule, and thanked the board and council for the opportunity to serve.
