Enterprise city officials have discovered missing funds related to the Enterprise Water Works Board.
After a preliminary investigation by the Enterprise Criminal Investigations Division, police arrested Donna Holland, 53, of Jack, and Donald Mock, 57, of New Brockton, and charged both with first-degree theft of property and were transported to the Coffee County Jail.
According to EPD Public Information Officer Billy Haglund, it is believed that Holland and Mock are responsible for allegedly taking more than $10,000 from the Enterprise Water Works Board.
Holland worked as the department's office manager, and Mock worked as a billing coordinator.
District Judge Paul Sherling saw both Holland and Mock via video and set each of their bonds at $15,000.
Other conditions of bond include committing no new offenses while out on bond, not to leave the state without permission of the court and to have no contact with the victim in the case.
Holland and Mock did not request a preliminary hearing.
Holland told the judge she intends to hire her own attorney and Mock said he intends to let the court know about his status for an attorney.
No further information is available at this time as the case remains under investigation.
