A New Brockton man was arrested Jan. 17 after a Jan. 12 stabbing that occurred at the Inland gas station in New Brockton.
Altoreik Rashid Jones, 34, was charged with second-degree assault after he allegedly confronted the victim Frederick Harris inside the convenience store.
Jones allegedly stabbed Harris in the back with a knife.
Harris was transported the Medical Center Enterprise for treatment of the non life-threatening wound.
Jones has been released from the Coffee County Jail on $15,000 bond.
In other crime, according to Coffee County Jail records, police have arrested Adam Robert Bryant, 19, of New Brockton, first-degree robbery; Nicholas Shane manning, 27, of Troy, possession of a controlled substance; William Ray Oliver, 29, of Troy, possession of a controlled substance; Michael Craig Cron, 31, of Daleville, unlawful distribution of a controlled substance; Thomas Wesley Barrentine, 19, of Daleville, first-degree theft of property; John H. King, 29, of Florala, alias writ of arrest; Joshua Russell Mosley, 28, of Montgomery, first degree receiving stolen property; and Jamal Edwada Scott, 34, of Enterprise, third-degree burglary.
