The grand jury handed down several indictments that were served June 10 by the Coffee County Sheriff's Office.
Indictments were presented to William B. Whitehurst, 55, of Enterprise, second-degree assault; Jimmy Terry, 41, of Daleville, two counts of adult sex offender act violation; Yvette Dawn Melvin, 46, of New Brockton, second-degree assault, promoting prison contraband and first-degree escape; Lakisha Shroune Lewis, 33, of Enterprise, third-degree escape; Dequincey Wilder, 21, of Enterprise, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree possession of marijuana; Jarett Ballard, 27, of Chancellor, two count of possession of controlled substance and two count of possession of drug paraphernalia; Jaquinton Williams, 18, of Enterprise, first-degree robbery; Adrian Norris Jones, 33, of Enterprise, first-degree theft by deception; James Edward Warren, 53, of Enterprise, sex offender act violation; Kenny Simmons, 48, of Enterprise, three counts of third degree burglary; Xavier McGowan, 21, of Enterprise, first-degree robbery; Aubrey Shipman, 20, of Enterprise, first-degree robbery; and Sebastian Holmes, 26, of Enterprise, first-degree receiving stolen property.
