The Coffee County Sheriff's Department has made a final arrest in a burglary ring that stretched from Alabama to Florida.
Joshua McQuillen, 22, of Defuniak Springs, Florida, was arrested May 4, and charged with third-degree burglary.
Sheriff Dave Sutton said he was arrested outside a home in Samson for his involvement in multiple home burglaries in Coffee County and Walton County, Florida.
Sutton said he and David Kilpatrick, 21, of Enterprise, and Dominique Trice, 24, of Enterprise, were using rental cars and burglarizing homes and taking the stolen items across state lines to pawn.
Some of the stolen items were able to be recovered, Sutton said, but the department is still working to recover other items.
Trice and Kilpatrick were arrested in mid-April and were both charged with three counts of third-degree burglary.
Sutton said the arrest was possible through a coordinated effort among the Coffee County Sheriff's Department, the Walton County Sheriff's Department and the Defuniak Springs Police Department.
