On Monday, Dec. 7, at 5:45 a.m., a single-vehicle crash in Dale County claimed the life of a Louisville man.

Edward Bernard Boykin, was killed when his 2002 Ford left County Road 20 and struck a tree four miles east of Ozark near County Road 346.

Boykin, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information is available at this time as the Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
