The city of Enterprise put its patriotism on display Thursday as a team with the Best of the Road competition toured Enterprise to find out of it truly is the most patriotic city in the United States.

Enterprise is competing against five other cities across the nation in the competition by USA Today and Rand McNally.

Their stops today included the Wall of Freedom at the Enterprise Recreation Complex, Enterprise Welcome Center and a hot dog eating competition.

The Best of the Road crew will be finishing up their busy day with a sundae dedication at Milky Moo’s at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Classic Car Patriotic Drive through downtown, beginning at 7 p.m.

For more information about the competition and more photos of the activities, pick up a copy of Wednesday’s edition of The Southeast Sun.
