A two-vehicle crash at 6:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, has claimed the life of an Enterprise man and injured three others.
Eric Anthony Martinez, 30, was killed when the 2001 Hyundai Azera he was driving collided with a 2001 Ford Mustang driven by a 16-year-old teenager from Slocomb, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Trooper Kevin Cook.
Houston County Deputy Coroner Ben Earnes pronounced Martinez dead at the scene, Cooks said. Two passengers from Martinez’s vehicle were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The teenage driver of the Mustang was also transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries, according to Cook.
The crash occurred on South Park Road at the intersection of Battles Road in the Rehobeth city limits.
Nothing further is available as State Troopers continue to investigate.
