The Enterprise Police Department is investigating multiple car burglaries that took place on Sunday, March 5.

According to Public Information Officer Billy Haglund, the burglaries occurred at the Enterprise Recreation Center between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The suspect(s) broke the windows of the vehicles to gain entry and stole portable electronics and purses from the vehicles.

Haglund said the EPD would like to remind the citizens of Enterprise to not leave valuable items in vehicles and secure them in a safe place when vehicles are unattended.

The EPD's Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is investigating these auto burglaries and asks that anyone with information regarding these crimes contact the EPD at (334) 347-2222 or leave a tip at www.enterprisepd.com.
