Man identified in Rucker Boulevard traffic fatality

Coffee County Coroner Tim Whitehead has identified a man killed in a crash Tuesday morning on Rucker Boulevard as 39-year-old Clinton Myhand.

The Enterprise Police Department reported the traffic fatality that occurred at approximately 8:10.

According to the press release, the fatal motorcycle accident occurred on Rucker Boulevard near the intersection of Freedom Drive. The motorcycle left the roadway and struck a metal pole adjacent to the highway. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident.

Myhand was transported from the scene by the Enterprise Rescue Squad to Medical Center Enterprise where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

The accident is currently under investigation by the Enterprise Police Department.
