After an extensive investigation, officers with the Dothan Police Department have arrested Amber Rogers-Erickson, 27, of Enterprise, and charged her with second-degree theft.
According to the DPD, Erickson committed a series of fraudulent transactions between June 29 and July 3 by falsifying the purchase of jewelry and placing the dollar amount of the alleged sales on payment cards for personal gain.
Investigators say Erickson used her position as an employee at a local gold buyer to commit the theft.
The investigation is on going, police said, and further charges may be pending.
