The Enterprise Lady Cats (6-8, 1-0) picked up a road win against Class 7A, Area 3 rival Dothan Lady Wolves on Sept. 10.

Enterprise dominated Dothan in the match, winning all three sets 25-19, 25-22 and 35-16.

Leading the way for the Lady Cats was Yasmeen Stallworth with three aces and 12 digs, while Kamira Cooper had 12 kills and two blocks.

Sammie Neuwien dished 15 assists and Heather Holtz chipped in with eight kills and 11 assists. Lily Rhoades contributed 40 digs in the win along with two aces, while Hannah Chang had three blocks.

The Enterprise JV also defeated Dothan’s JV squad 25-17 and 25-18 with Makenna Kennedy leading the way with five aces and five assists.

Aziya Purcell had five kills and Jaydin Williams had three aces with five assists. Emma Warren chipped in with three aces and five digs.

The EHS freshmen squad also picked up wins over both Dauphin Junior High and Coppinville Junior High on Sept. 8. The EHS freshmen beat Coppinville 25-17 and 25-23 and knocked off Dauphin 25-18 and 25-7.

Leading the freshmen was Kaelynn Green with three kills and one block, while Riley Stewart added three digs and three aces. Alivia Freeman picked up two blocks.

Enterprise followed up the Dothan win with an appearance at the Battle of the Bay Tournament at Bayside Academy in Daphne. Enterprise defeated Faith Academy 2-0 but fell to Bayshore 2-1 and Bayside 2-0.

Rhoades led Enterprise with 32 digs and three aces, while Kamira Cooper had 13 kills and Horne had five blocks.
